Davemm Hill White Dorpers was established in Queensland in 2007.
Davemm Hill White Dorpers is a family owned and operated enterprise specialising in the breeding of high quality White Dorpers. Founded in Haden in 2007, we now operate on a small farm at Pinelands, 50 kilometres North of Toowoomba, and are proudly committed to the continual improvement of our livestock, breeding according to the Dorper Breed Standards of Excellence.
Davemm Hill is dedicated to the breeding of hardy White Dorpers with excellent fertility, superb mothering, fast growth rates, good muscling, good shedding ability and exceptional temperament. We are most proud of our fertility statistics with anything less than twins being uncommon.
Our commitment to excellence gives us an edge in breeding, with our efforts recently being recognised at the 2016 National Dorper & White Dorper Show in Bendigo, winning National Junior Reserve Champion White Dorper Ewe and National Junior Champion White Dorper Ewe at the 2015 National Show. At the 2012 National Dorper Show in Dubbo, we were awarded 1st place in the White Dorper Ewe Lamb over 55kg class, 1st in the 2 Tooth class, 1st in the 6 Tooth and Over class, Junior Reserve Champion White Dorper Ewe and Senior Reserve Champion White Dorper Ewe. These wins resulted in us achieving 2nd overall White Dorper Supreme Exhibitor.
We have also been successful in interbreed competitions, being awarded the Supreme Interbreed Ewe at the Toowoomba Royal Show in March 2012, and also at the Goondiwindi Show in May 2013. More recently we received the Lorna Milton Memorial Trophy for Interbreed Champion Pen, Ram & Ewe at the Toowoomba Royal Show in April 2014 and Interbreed Champion Pair Rams at the Toowoomba Royal Show in 2015.
